I honestly don't understand why this is a big deal. The law student isn't his political enemy and he was trying to make points with women in the up coming election. Palin is his political enemy and is not trying to win points with the republican base.
What he needs to be focusing on is jobs. That will get him reelected. Not a stupid phone call.

I think more importantly, thats what we need to be focused on. Obama maybe spent 2 minutes on a phone call, but the press will run with it for weeks. Both sides will try very hard to keep the voting public distracted with meaningless crap.

The only ones that care about this meaningless drivel is RWNs. So they can try and stir up their base. LWNs, Independents, and moderates don't care about this stuff. They care about jobs, the economy, gas prices, etc. Shit that affects them. This doesn't affect them.
