Windmills kill nearly half a million birds a year, according to a Fish and Wildlife estimate. The American Bird Conservancy projected that the number could more than double in 20 years if the administration realizes its goal for wind power.

Just let me shoot them I'll do it for free and I'll enjoying helping to reduce the carbon footprint (carbon footprint... lolz)
Then the animal lovers dont have to worry about them being killed by wind mills and the green morons can still be happy about saving the planet blaha. T.  we both win. I get to kill stuff and have fun and they get to cry like normal. Its a win win for all parties. Blame hunters and call it inhumane and I also get a good laugh.

I'm sure if it became a problem, or was in a sensitive area the technology could be adapted to reduce the number of animals killed. There are ways of preventing birds from flying in an area.
How many marine and avian creatures have been killed by fossil fuels?
