The Romans in space "Imperator" was ditched long ago. Before WAR was even announced actually.
The game and the concept seemed ridiculous to me.

Rumor had it they were courting warhammer 40k at the time and were talked into doing Warhammer instead . Imperator was very close to the imperium(SP?) in 40k.
