Anyone have any thoughts on the survivor's accounts of a team of drunk people shooting?

do you have a link to these accounts? i'd be very interested in learning more, but tough to have an opinion without evaluating them.

"In Afghanistan another version of the story is developing that the U.S. corporate media fails to even acknowledge. According to several overseas media sources, Afghanistan President Karzai accuses the US government of covering up the truth about the killings and Afghanistan Parliament members, investigators and local witnesses have a compiled a mountain of corroborating evidence that shows that as many as 20 U.S. soldiers were involved in a coordinated, execution-type operation in the two villages that night. (See video on left).

"

"He added the attack lasted one hour involving two groups of American soldiers in the middle of the night on Sunday. “The villages are one and a half kilometre from the American military base. We are convinced that one soldier cannot kill so many people in two villages within one hour at the same time, and the 16 civilians, most of them children and women, have been killed by the two groups.”

"

etc

Edit: and lets not forget that I hinted about it 10 days ago

So again I ask, what's the point of the coverup? Why blame it all on one dude if it was a squad or more?

Six people survived. It would help to interview them

How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?

Why blame one dude? Look up patsy or scapegoat. ALL witness reports have different villages being attacked at the same time. So I'll ask you. If this was a staged event meant to do oh, I don't know, Give OBAMA something to worry about or make Afghanistan a more dangerous place for US soldiers, wouldn't you blame it on one guy?

EDIT: That base didn't report having two death squads roaming around the base and I doubt the killers are actual US troops. Mercs, probably eastern Europeans dressed in our gear.

Is it really that hard for you to believe that one person was able to do this? Might I mention that a 23 year old Asian with no military background was able to massacre 32 people with ease.

The more logical answer is that these "eyewitnesses" we're paid off to say more then one person was shooting. A good friend of mine has done 3 tours in Afghanistan and 2 and Iraq with the recon marines. He told me that he doesnt believe we stand a chance of winning, the local elders sell their allegiance to the higher bidder. We come in and pay off someone and as soon as we leave the Taliban pays more.
