Dinner: $100 (steak, bottle of wine, good tip)
Movie: $35 - $25 tix, $10 for soda and popcorn
Optional after movie drinks/dessert/coffee: $40
Total: $175 (fuel and parking costs figured in but not itemized separately)
Repeat however many times it takes to close the deal... maybe once, maybe a half a dozen, maybe more, maybe with multiple women who are only interested in seeing how many nice steak dinners they can get...
Let's not even get into the cost of getting married over time... and the possibilities of the costs of ending that marriage (with or without children) regardless of whether or not you patronize a house of ill repute.
All in all, from the perspective of pure financial transactions only, setting aside the "value" of emotional attachments, it's WAY WAY WAY cheaper to visit the Pokey Palace when the mood strikes.
