I believe they'll just playback saying Sheperd was indoctrinated and everything of last hour or so was Shepherds indoctrinated hallucinations and give us ten hours or so more gameplay in heavily expensive DLC.

I still don't understand why people care about the ending of a game. Yes, they're more story-driven than they were when we tried to rescue the princess from the same cookie-cutter dungeon over and over, only to be told at the last moment by an errant lady-in-waiting that she had been dragged off to yet another fortress, but it's still a game.
