If you are avoiding going after the best financial return (low cost index fund), go with some combination of Vegas, women, wine and steak.

I like real estate I can walk around and piss on the corners and it wont vaporize. If you dont have any real estate i would start there. If you are going into stocks then you have lots of work to do. Guard it. it is a windfall. Be prudent. Dont buy platinum or cattle from any friends.
