I agree. But at the same time, who really needs a weapon to destroy that much? No country should possess such a weapon. I mean one flick of a button and millions could die, innocent and combatants. Its too risky. But then again soldiers and missles kill both combatants and noncombatants too :/

If its only for energy then by all means. But who knows if it pursue weapons later on? Its a tough call to make.

Jordan has been trying to live peacefully with its neighbors including saudi and Israel for quite some time... Iran has publicly stated it would like to destory its neighbors...

The difference is that when Jordan says they only want nuclear power and not weapons they are actually telling the truth.

Uh, I'm sure Jordan wants nukes. Almost any country would.

I agree they are not likely to try to actually make them, though.

You're right. Enough is enough. I'm tired of all the nukes going off and killing millions every other week for the last 65 years. They're entirely too risky...

I don't think anyone doubts that Iran would like to have nukes. But, the consensus intelligence assessment for the last few years is that Iran is not actively pursuing production of nuclear weapons and that, if it does change its mind, we will have plenty of time to deal with the situation.

... so why is Jordan not be as reviled as Iran for pursuing the same goal as Iran ???

Because nuclear power is not the same goal as nuclear weapons

There is no evidence of nuclear weapons in Iran .. So your accusation is false and my original question still stands

Considering they were refining their nuclear material THOUSANDS of times beyond what was needed for fuel (which is what you need for bombs) I'd say that stood as at least "reasonable suspicion" brah.

Well no one builds nukes without foreseeing it being used one day. Be it for defensive or offensive purposes. The point is no one really needs them. It has no respect for life, its designed to lay waste to mass areas full of both combatants and noncombatants. The same with biological weapons. They are unnecessary to possess if the intent to use them one day is not there.
