so as i alluded to...
the .40 is a backup, not a main weapon

I agree. The long arm should be our main weapon. when we carry t, its considered the primary system but not all agents carry them. They can get in the way if you have to go hands on with an alien... Despite seeing a guy armed to the teeth, pleenty of them and of course the smugglers decide they want to fight. After about 3-5 hours of tracking a group in rough terrain at high temps... They weigh you down a little. Especially, if you are carrying all your extra ammo in your outter vest carrier.

The DHS shouldn't even be issued weapons. The DHS shouldn't even be an agency. They should just disband the DHS.

Does not matter to me... I'm pretty sure the USBP, Customs, ICE, Coast Guard, and more would not all cease to exist. if by chance my agency did go poof, I would go be a Forrest Ranger or find some other outdoorsy Fed LEO position.
