I thoguht he was trying to think of community organizer. He doesn't seem like a guy who drops the n word but I dont' know he may be one hundred percent racist. I dont' think this proves he is though.

He wasn't talking about racism. He was talking about food stamps and other government safety net programs. Programs that are used by people of all races. But, he singled out blacks as the recipients of those safety net programs. How many black folks are there in Iowa? 14? 15?

When people talk about programs and laws meant to counter some of the bad things that have happened and are still happening to blacks because of their race they aren't just talking about the blacks in iowa. Do you really not understand why this is pertinent and who made it pertinent?

I think the thing most people found funny about it was he tried to deny he said "black people" afterward, insisting he said "blah people" instead. Blah people? Really?

Besides you and Santorum, I really havent heard anyone describe food stamps as a program for black people designed to counteract the legacy of slavery and racism.

You don't think anyone has ever argued that less gov't funding of programs like food stamps is racist because it disproportionately targets blacks? That's the hill you want to die on?

He wasn't talking about programs and laws meant to counter some of the bad things that have happened to blacks. He was talking about basic safety net programs that apply to every race. Why didn't he just say that he wanted to help all Americans? No, instead, he told a group of white folks that he was against using their money to provide food stamps to black folks.
