I used to totally hate KVs when I was fighting them. Now that I'm between Tier V and VII with all my vehicles I really love them, because they are such easy kills. Yesterday with my Hummel I got one right after the start of a fight (on the road in the middle of the Lakeville map where you can aim and just wait a couple seconds for the first target to pass by) while he was driving full speed. Couldn't help and felt a bit sorry for him on one side, but had to laugh nontheless

Yeah the light/med side. I have the 12t atm a my highest. A fun tank to play because it's so fast. You can annoy slower heavy tanks because of the speed of the tank and the quick loading.

It basically means a short barreled, possibly inaccurate cannon that has a good chance of dealing 1 shot kills. Guns such as the m2 medium's howitzer, the hetzer's 10.5 cm StuH, or pretty much anything loaded onto the kv line that isn't stock.

tl;dr
"derp" in WoT is generally a direct-fire arty gun that some tanks can use
typical example is the KV-2 with a "derp" gun, aka. "trollcannon"
you know, a short range high dmaage gun you load with HE and wait until the enemy is close enough to use to good effect
