I was googling for cliche bad internet arguments, and stumbled across this. Pretty spot-on for the Outpost. All they need is to add one for the "don't like it, don't buy it" cliche.

Since you're obviously too smart, or too stupid, to get subtlety, let me spell it out for you in plain English: The purpose of the OP was to foment discussion on a particular game company's business practices. When you state dumb, obvious things like, "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T BUY IT" or, "AMURCA LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT" you add nothing to the discussion. It makes you less interesting, if that is even possible.

We all know that we are not forced to buy EA products. That does not preclude discussion about those products or the business decisions that go into the creation of those products. Also, and it has happened before: Sometimes people discussing these practices lead to changes in those practices. Sometimes public opinion is a powerful tool in convincing stupid companies to drop their stupid ideas.

In summary: Thanks for tracking bird shit all over the thread and boring us to death with your Cacophony of the Obvious. As always, we appreciate it.
