I don't think anyone is saying that they cases are identical. I certainly haven't. There are obviously differences. The point is that there are also similarities which are conveniently ignored, most likely because those doing the ignoring are receptive to the message (regardless of the message's accuracy). There's a word for that...

This crap they are trying to sell it as an accident..... 
They do this stuff all the time. Fox News is one of the most agregious offenders but they all do it. This time some moron did it in the worst way at the worst time. It was VERY misleading. It really pushed the racial angle and led many down the wrong path.
At least now we know that Zimmerman is an armed wanna be who is a menace and danger to everyone out there, not just black people.
