The Holocaust was not the final solution to the Jewish question.

The German Question is the attempt to unite all 3 or 4 dozen Germanic tribes and has been unresolved since it was brought up first when Hermann of the Cherusci united several Germanic tribes in a successful uprising against the Romans followed by his death at the hand of rivaling tribal leaders.
2000 years, countless wars, two World Wars, a couple revolutions and one Cold War later we've made noticeable progress but there's still a lot to do. And I'm looking at you Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries. 
(Not sure we still want the Anglo-Saxons and the Franks back.  )

Seems like it delayed the German takeover of Europe until the mid 90s at least. Now Germany runs Europe and the rest of the sheep love them.

The Greeks do not like ze'Germans. 60 Minutes ran an interesting segment on the subject last night. 300,000 Greeks died the last time Germany occupied Greece. When Germany started talking about a Kommissar being stationed in Greece to oversee the austerity measures... well lets just say that didn't go over well.
