I have no idea the actual numbers, but FF and HG have the highest white server populations, most evenings there's somewhere in the neighborhood of 180-220 accounts logged on, at high population times it's around 300. By comparison on a quiet night there were less than 100 accounts logged onto Leafcull.
I think changing the scenery was the right move for me. It let me enjoy a game that I never stopped loving without having to carry around the baggage from the past. I could leave my account on LC with all it's memories and "stuff" and start over with next to nothing.
The people who play now are not only die hard players who know a TON about the game, but a lot of people who came back to see what they missed.
