So! In Asheron's Call, I go by the name Bru, and currently I play on the server of Solclaim. I have been playing AC on and off since around 2002, on practically every server...Except Frostfell. I am a member of a large allegiance on Solclaim and run two Tradebots. I have many close friends on Solclaim, and as such I am hesitant to come over to Frostfell and start fresh...But I keep feeling the urge to make the transition for 2 reasons: The in-game economy, and PKL. As far as the in-game economy on Solclaim is concerned...there is none. The auctioning, the tradebots, the large trade barons of the server, they all disappeared years ago. As such, it is difficult for someone like me, who considers trading an ENORMOUS part of the game, to find other players to interact with. And for PKL...Let's just say half of the players in my allegiance did not know PKL existed.
A little bit about me in-game: I am a very self-sufficient player (currently, I have 3 active accounts). As stated above, I love PvP action (unfortunately, I do not have enough time to dedicate to Darktide), so if I do transfer over to Frostfell, you will see me PKL quite often. I am an active member of the Official Turbine Boards, aswell as the VN Boards, so I hope to participate in the Board-Auctions, and hopefully become a familiar face around here . I am a serious "suit-aholic", one might say, and I am ALWAYS seeking to improve and upgrade my gear and equipment. I am not satisfied with a +15, +166% bow, and I will work my butt off to get that +16, +166 . As far as my playing-schedule is concerned, I do not play very much...Probably an hour or two a day on schooldays. Here's a part that some people might grief me for, but is necessary to state: I am a supporter of UCM. I macro. There's no way around it. If you have a problem with that, I understand that and respect your opinions. Hopefully people won't give me a hard time for being open about it
A little bit about me outside of the game: I am a sophomore in highschool, I row crew in the fall and spring, do training/conditioning in the winter and summer seasons, I am an artist, I love to write, I am an honors student, and I play in our school band. I have a personal connection with Asheron's Call, and enjoy playing it in my free time, but it is not a major priority in my life.
I really do want to join the Frostfell community, but I'm on the fence about leaving SC. Going from having all those friends, the water-side stand-alone-villa, the MMDs, the epics, the amazing bows, ect, to knowing nobody and having absolutely nothing to my name is a little bit overwhelming . Regardless, I thought I would introduce myself, and hear what the VN Frostfell community has to say .

I've recently rolled a new character on your wonderful server (switching over from Darktide), and I am looking for a patron who could help me out in terms of getting started. I'm currently a level 17 War Mage and have one rended wand....thats about it.
Traditionally, my play-style on npk servers has been to take my time leveling and spending more time questing than grinding....However, that playstyle is horribly repetitive after several dozen re-rolls, and now I really would like to just have one character that I can referr to as my "main" (ever since I started playing in 2003, I've had a very very difficult time declaring which character is my "main"...simply because I would roll a new guy every other day). I want to level as fast as possible - as I'm pretty sure I've spent more time in the noob-stages than any other AC player to date :-p - so that I can enjoy the high-end content, which I have never experienced.
A few things about me: I take suit-building very seriously, and I am always trying to perfect it, down to the last tailored-piece. (I am largely self-sufficient in this; 90% of the currency that I aquire is spent in the MFK market....while the other 10% is spent on components, healing kits, potions, etc.). I try to get involved in the economy of the server, aswell as the community. I also enjoy PvP, and have spent a few years on Darktide. After spending time on Darktide, though, I find that it is far too stressful, and I would rather play a more laid-back character on a white world. Once I get high enough in the levels, expect to see me slaughtering some PKL-nublets in the marketplace whenever I have some time to burn ;-).
