I think most people would pretty much have the same list. Schaub is good when he is healthy but I need to see him actually play a full season more than once (especially since qb's can't get touched anymore). I think Ryan and Flacco are close to the same since one hasn't really blew me away with their play.

Flacco is above average, but no where near elite. I would not rate Romo or Roethlisberger above him. The rest I 100% agree with though.

Why is this such a big deal?
I think everyone knows he's not an elite QB but what is he supposed to say? "I'm an average QB"? You can't knock the guy for having confidence, personally if I was a Raven's fan I would want my QB to think that way.

Maybe bottom half is a bit of a stretch, but put half the starting QBs in the league in his position, and I doubt it'd hurt the Ravens much.
