I got a fortune today!! |
A) That's fucking cool you won 220k from a lotto. Didn't know that. That must have been a crazy feeling.
B) Consider the number of fortune cookies you opened in your lifetime before that, and what happened. People get lucky sometimes.

yup. totally agree, people just get fucking lucky.
as for winning, yea it was unreal, it was over 5 years ago. bought a car, travelled, went to school and random other shit. invested 100k of it, still have i think around 28k still in my actual bank account.

canada has no tax on lottery. you win 50 mil you get 50 mil.\
as for others. i bought a 2005 legacy 2.5 gt ltd brand new at the time, still have it today, and as for what i was feeling, at the time i was working at a bikeshop repairing shit and i won on a wednesday (5 numbers + bonus in 6/49, so i was 1 number off of 8 million) on a day off, i was happy enough to quit my shit ass job so i showed up the next morning and was like "yeah im not working here anymore" and just went home, i didnt actually tell them i won the lottery, just said i was offered a better job starting today. i had to reread the ticket honestly like 50 times as i read it from my computer, i called my best friend and told him before i told anyone else. ended up giving him 10 g's, plus some other cash to people. was exciting.
ive actually won that, AND ive won 10k on bingo and crossword 3 fucking days apart.
scratched one, won on bingo, 3 days later i had a doctors appt so i went and bought some, won 10 grand again on crossword.
