Considering AC came out in 1999 your computer should not have much to do with it.

Sadly it does though especially running into different landblocks and freezing up for 1-2 seconds. I'm hoping @ least a dual core will take care of that problem. Might need to get a 1g graphics card for it as well but luckily this mobo takes PCIe so should be able to get a cheap one.

I have a quad core, 8 gigs of ram, a a GTX Ti570, and I still get lockups on certain land blocks.
Just sayin', this game runs like shit. It ran better on my Celeron 700Mhz back in the day than it does on my current pc.

I am running i7 extreme, 12gb of ram and dual radeon hd 6900 in crossfire and I still lock up all over the place. Feels bad man.

I still get temporary lock ups. 150, and bobo are the most noticeable places.
Comp works great for running 3 accounts while playing other games. I've ran 9 accounts no prob before though. At this point in the game your computer really doesn't have much to do with it. So long as your not running like Windows 95 with 128 MB's of ram or some shit. 
What matters?
Your internet connection and ping times to Turbines servers. I fucking hate AC when it comes to this shit. I can go play any other game online with less then 100 ping easy. I have never once in my entire time playing this fucking game seen it below 140ms. It's usually around 180ms-260ms for me.
Speaking of that. I wonder if Turbine has some reason for why ping times suck ass.

As long as your running on anything relatively modernish maybe slightly old? You should be fine lol.
I mean really. AC was designed to run for people on Dial up back in the day. This game was made for people with shitty machines.
