That actually sums up how I modded really well in one post. Every other mod (outside DT at least) loved banning, but didn't realize they chased away users.
People like GP (and dozens of others) should still be here, a perfect homerun scenario poster to have on your board, but other mods step in and ban him every other day for trivial shit.

Agreed. There were many different mods with many different attitudes towards these boards and some of them ruined it long ago.
