Ok, the link will be darktide.digitalviceinc.com, a sub-domain off of our business website.
It will look SLIGHTLY different because of the framework we have, but it won't be an absurd change, a log in screen will be done by tonight, with possibly more.
Post counts will be uploaded to your new account.
Titles as well, not just for post count, but your own personal title.
You can upload an icon.
5 line signature as well.
The format and layout will be the exact same as VN, your "new topic" option and others, etc, will be in the same places.
The heading will be different obviously, but relative to Darktide and the community.
All of the same options and features such as faces, link, add image, etc. just as it is now on VN.
So for the most part, besides the "view", which won't change much, it will be exactly the same.
E-mail/password will be private and protected under our ToS and CoC, the same rules and regulations will apply to those who abuse racism, etc.
I am accepting applications for those of you who would like to be an administrator as I don't want to nor would I probably be fair to some of you because of the way you talk to me (being honest).
You get what I'm trying to say here. I enjoy the game, I understand how important these boards are to Darktide, and it's long standing members, and something like this should be community controlled. This is strictly business to me, and I would just like to see people be able to stay accustom to what they are now and continue to keep Darktide popular and active, and these boards help do so.
I am also thinking of implementing a new option, a very in depth trade feature, for example... If you want to upload a Major BT BD8 max sword, you will be able to select which type of sword, input the mods, select the spells, input the value/BU/craft and requirements. So this way the forums are strictly for DT related topics or whatever other random bullshit that gets posted. You will be able to click on the "Trade" tab, and browse by what you are looking for, whether it be weapons, set pieces, aetheria, cloaks, even spell comps.
Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated, I am not too familiar with these boards, and want to get the ones being created on my website as close to this one as possible. I don't know how many stars you get for how many posts, or what normal titles you would earn, things of that nature.
No one will have to pay for this, and because I'm nice, you will all have a premium membership to our e-Sports website that includes tips, interviews, upcoming events, tournaments, release parties, information about our platform and hub accessible on your smart phones, etc.
Anyways, applicants for administrator privileges, e-mail to Nicholas@digitalviceinc.com. You will have to electronically sign an agreement stipulating such terms as, privacy for users information, bans, ban lengths and reasons, not being bias, and taking actions pertinent to the stability and fun environment of the new boards.
