No need for another race for all 3 realms also.

I agree 100%.

I don't know what the hell EA was thinking. Same class/same race in all realms/factions should be left in WoW type games.

I think it should have been:

Albion

Rock

Hibernia
Scissors

Midgard
Paper

It takes a lot of nails to build a crib, but just one screw to fill it.
Everywhere is walking distance if you have enough time.

What and then hear the never ending whines from Albs/Hibs about how OP'd the class is(or that they didn't get anything) and counter whines from the Mids on how crappy it is? I think they saved themselves the hassle from lessons learned from previous Xpacs. So yes it does make senSe in that way.

You can not give a new expansion class to only one realm and tell the other two realms to go pound sand.

All the realms each have more than a dozen somewhat individual classes. I don't see any issue having one shared class.

It was most likely a cost saving design decision as their funds were going into warhammer by that point. Cheaper to vary one race/class + items design than to go in each realm with unique race class and item designs.

Maybe. But it felt more like a compromise to me. The game already had 44 classes and there were a lot of people against adding any more. So the 1 shared class might have been a compromise between those that wanted more classes and those the didn't.

No it wouldn't have made more sense because Midgard having 14 classes instead of 15 doesn't actually matter. Midgard has all the same important abilities as the other realms in its 14 classes and even some other abilities they don't have (AE stun, chambers, powerless spreadheals, 2h perfs, multiple permanent summoned pets, 100% melee crits, quad hits, pet intercept, etc.).
