500+ damage every 2 seconds? That scout must have had 450 Dex and your resists must have been in the toilet.
Scouts are not the only class with a shield and IIRC I have seen 500 PB's with crits often enough.

the only reason to return is that all other MMO's suck, which leaves a void to fill. Now if dear ol' mythic realizes this that daoc is probably one of a kind MMO out there they start developing a daoc 2 or a new xpack

They are working on an xpack strategy. But nothing as grand as Toa. Its release is dated around GW2. I was told early 2011 is target. I doubt it.

I agree. While doing their best to make a great game and keep it that way, through the years Mythic has aquired the label "Moron", well almost, there are still a few people that play DAoC.
