roflmao man am i glad i quit the game..... but after reading abunch of the posts..... i'm thinking mythic should run a "random realm" 3 man dev team everyday.... turn the other 2 realms whatever <fill in the blank> color..... take all the relics and generally insta wipe anything that moves in nf for about 6 hours aday.


hey!! then they can fraps it all and make a movie!!!.... they could call it "Wrath of Godmode"

I noticed they had special RAs, with absolutely no timers.

The Hibernia one was always poping an AOE sort of realm speed, with the SoS graphics.

Edit: How I'd love to see him having a PBAoE like the Dragon has!!

Sounds kinda lame but we got about 50-70 hibs at fens. Every time we wiped them, their dev would pop a 50% egg type spell and res them all. Then we'd wipe them again, and again, and again. I think he was trying to help them, but i'll be damned it wasn't rp pling for mid. Great night.


In the future though I think it would be way cooler if they were just very very very hard to kill and not unkillable. That way each realm would have to work together to defend their dev. Also, it would be cooler if instead of some random player it was actually the realms king leading the charge.

All 3 Dev’s were doing the same thing. Who cares. 1 day out of how many years they were able to play with us, alongside us, without having to pretend to be someone else? Yesterday was their day as well as ours and it was great to show the players that Dev’s actually care about the players and to just have fun. The last time I had as much fun as I did last night, with massive zerg vs zerg action, was in old emain many many many many years ago. I have no complaints. If you didn’t want to be a part of it.. you didn’t have to be near the action, there’s a lot of other places in the frontiers to have gone to. I know many hibs who didn’t want to take part in the event, so they went their own route and took some keeps etc on their own. Big Deal? It’s no like anyone made it mandatory to attend. I hate Spring Break, I live in Daytona Beach, FL. Guess what? I don’t go near the beach during that event. See how easy it is?

how was it not a waste of a month? if they dont put in the halloween hats because they were busy with this garbage then yes it was a waste.

i had no benefit from our "leader" at any point on mid since i had healers that were worth having in grp and only needed a rez when the other dev did the insta kill aoe.

we wiped albs at relic and only thing left was the dev, at least 3fg were swinging at him and he blew moc and was able to still trying to kill us but we couldn't do much to him.

this was really no different than any other regular night of RvR, we remembered that keeps fights are terrible and roamed, killed stragglers from the enemies zergs fought other pugs ect.

i would have much rather them do some sort of halloween event and put back in the hats and what not, but if the devs were killable, and everyone got RPs like defending a keep rps or something, then it would have been different.

i understand it was fun for prob most of the population since they are content zerging, and that's their prerogative, i have no right to ridicule them and that is not my goal. all im saying is, in reality was this "event" any different than any other night for most?

the zergers always zerg then the euros take the relics when the americans are asleep the world keeps spinning like nothing ever happened. thus, was this even event worthy? you wasted time making a dumb video to promote this event ?

i cant wait for the mord one, i hope they turn off the invulnerability and die over and over to portal humpers and help mord out of rage, and i dont even play mord >.> but at least they will actually help the game.

or maybe they also had terrible server lag during this and decide next time to fix that instead.

Good times. I look foward to more Live Events. In the future I suggest creating a poll, or a feedback form on the topic on the herald to let the playerbase help create the next live event. Let the fans brainstorm together on this and be a part of creating a Live Event. This way it would allow players to be creatively involved in the game they love. There is alot to be said for pride of ownership. Dev's could give some options based on players feedback of what the general direction of the Live Event. In game poll or someother means.
