So I came back to try the game again with the new 14day promotion. I'm on a new computer with far greater specs than I had before. But everything but the lag has gotten better for me. My frame rates don't drop, but when there are alot of people on my screen they seem to stutter a bit.
Any ideas? Is this on my end or server end?

The problem is on Mythic's end. I get noticeably worse lag and load lag today then I did 5 years ago with my older much slower computer.

I don't know what they have done on their end but they have definately done something.
During prime time on a weekend, for me as a positional dependent class, the game is pretty much unplayable now.
It's not just ghosting anymore. The lag is so bad when it's busy that it is people literally dissapearing then reapearring elsewhere.
I would be interested to know what Mythic did to cause this.
I can put up with alot of stuff, but if the game is unplayable it's ....unplayable.

Its coding on Mythics servers... And there seems to be a memory leak in the game as well.
Lots of people have been crashing to the desktop with a 'Game DLL has stopped working'.
Or, just a full freeze of the game.

Well it's comforting to know that it's probably not my machine, but lag plus getting used to the game again made for a rough weekend Maybe weeknights will be less populated

I just want to remark on how sad it is that people are hoping for lower population on a game that has suffered the most from low population.

Ok, may wishing for a lower population was poor wording. I meant less concentrated. But I guess at this stage of the game there isn't much need for PvE. Everyone is just out RvRing.
