the idea is great should indeed be implemented BUT they lack the skill and willpower to actually do it @ Mythic these days.

I just reactivated all 6 of my old accounts and it is taking days to log into each server just to find old toons and get them transfered. I only plan on keeping 2 open after the free 14 days, but need to move money and stuff off the old ones.

IMO the first thing mythic should be fixing at this point is the way we log into the game. It's such a PITA to log in and out to look for or play different characters. It doesn't seem to hard to change this (ex# at server select screen, instead of displaying ywain 1-10 it would just display ywain as a single server).
After selecting ywain as the server in which you would like to play then you would pick for which realm you wish to play.
After that it would display the servers which hold the characters of the specified realm (ex# i chose midgard at realm select screen, it would display ywain 1, ywain 2, ywain 5 and ywain 9 holding my midgard characters)
Then you would continue to choose the specific server (ex# ywain 1), then character, then log.
Also every step should have a back button, seems fairly simple to me?
That to me sounds like a very simple approach, I mean your not really getting into specifics. I may have sent feedback on this idea, ethier I didn't hear back from Mythic or I did and they basically told me to screw. Getting into more detail I think would be more work (Character Name, Level, Race, Money, Right Ring Slot, etc..) But if Mythic is willing to work with us, then I'll be happy with anything at this point. |
