I should have explained. When you search for vacancies, the first page of results only shows vacancies among the first 20 houses in the zone. Click on the link to the map and look for little flags that indicate vacant home lots.
The housing search UI is less than friendly.

I dont see "you just need to click the zone map...in other words, go to view lot vacancies"
I only see Server:,Realm:,Village: options or
Find a Specific Lot: and Find an Owner: options,
I dont see zone map or view lot vacancies options...

Yes, each realm has 9 housing zones but you can only see 8 on the Herald. Assuming the 9th Housing zone is tracked just like the others in the Big Database O' Housing, this shouldn't be hard to fix. And so I dream...

Apparently, the only thing that keeps us for searching for vacancies in Stavgaard on the Herald is this line of very complex code:

Good info in this thread. I recently had a similar problem. I went on hiatus for 4 months and lost my mansion filled with 100+ plat worth of junk. I had assumed that the loads of plat in my CM would've prevented this. But, when I reactivated, I found my house gone and no housing lots available.
If I did buy a house on another server besides Ywain1 and grant access to my ywain1 toons there, I heard that I can't use my house bind since it is on another server? Any truth to that?

I've experienced it... but not on all characters. I don't know what the trick is. I had a keen bot from Ywain3 to move stuff between a guild house on Y1 and an extra house on Y4 and he kept loosing his hearth bind. I deleted and recreated him on Y10 and he hasn't had a problem since.

kxsleeper, are you sure you were in ywain4, and not by mistake in ywain1? Same zone, one would have no empty lots and one would be very empty.
