I was browsing the herald, and I cannot find patch notes 1.99 to 1.106. I checked archive, and it is only 1.98 is the highest, live notes are 1.107 as well as pendragon are the same as live. What happened to these notes?

They broke the Herald a while ago.

The patch note section of the Herald has been broken for awhile. Appending new patch notes would cause the section to corrupt.
We're currently in the process of revamping the DAOC Herald, and one of the features we're looking into implementing is a functional patch note archive that can easily be searched and maintained. Right now though, we're in a transitional period while we wait for this new functionality.

I have a need for old patch notes - I want VN to sticky a "Coming Back Guide for New Old Players" and I was hoping the patch notes would jog my feeble memory about important changes returning players should keep in mind.

How far back do you need to go? I have 4 PDFs of the patch notes from v1.60-1.69, 1.70-1.79, 1.80-1.89, and 1.90-1.98. I have not incorporated v1.99 into that set yet, but it sounds like you can still find it along with all the .100 block.
I can even go back in .txt files to v1.49 if you like, though the ones prior to 1.60 are not sorted yet.

OMFG TherinS this is great. I believe the DAoC Support Knowledgebase has just about every patch note pre-1.79, so I'm good there. 1.99+ I don't care about 'cause I you've just given me a ton of reading to do for now. I'll PM you and THANKS!

Well here is an idea. While you guys are working on the Herald. There could be a new feature added, so you can sign into your DAoC account using your ID & Pass via The Camelot Herald to view all your characters and what server they are on without having to hop from server to server to find them. And as there is a 5 minute wait period between realms, switching between servers and different realms might cause problems. So to avoid getting a 5 minute wait period while searching for your characters. Having this feature on the Herald would be a very good idea in my opinion.
