Actually in all honestly, the main reason why I won't come back is because of the following:

Tunafish: Hey fanglo, I loaded up your account and took your 2 rings (I forgot the names of the rings but they are the +magic damage ones)

Anyway those rings are pretty expensive and I use them in the templates for my eld, animist and even solo druid. So without them I'm down like 4 percent magic damage and some other stats like dex. Basicly I feel pretty gimp.

I guess I could always play my solo healer but still mad at Mythic for making that Lifetap proc PvE only.

Old news, you have been ranting about that since forever, i think everyone and their mom knows about your feelings already.

Me and my friends would never invite someone we didn't know (or that someone we knew recommended in lack of a better word). Call us egoists, elitists or whatever, but more often that not inviting someone "random" from /region would hurt our gaming experience (as in fun factor).

We all (pay to) play this game to enjoy ourselves and the sad truth is that i don't really care about others as long as i get my fix (that sounded terrible, i know. I'm trying to get a message trough though). If i cared too much about others, I'd probably just get burnt out and quit from frustration and boredom.

I never really pugged either. Pretty much the whole reason i played this game was because of my friends. If they weren't on, i'd just go do something else that evening.

Sorry...

I have a moral obligation to tell my story.

I don't blame you for playing that way, hell i used to do it too. I'm sure all of us who have played this game for so long have at some point been on a selective terms of playing binge.

My main problem i guess is nostalgia, and aspects of the game that i've grown a custom to that are no longer there.

Everyone has ideas and reasoning for why people left the game, well sometimes a game just dies for some people weather people are playing it or not.

Ironically enough i've been enjoying Warhammer more now then i did 2 years ago.

Snagging anyone from the /lfg channel is always potluck - sometimes it's a good player who has just came back or sometimes is someone who has never played and tries boarding a boat by jumping off the end of the dock. For pity sake - get vent! Some folks won't gp anyone who doesn't have vent as well as not gp'ing someone they don't know. Some will take the risk. Sometimes just maybe considering starting your own!

Totally get you... tend to run around solo more often than not because of the same reasons.. but few weeks ago, some random solo'er asked for an invite when I ran passed him on my minstrel in the middle of nowhere.. so figured I'd give the guy a ride.. few minutes later ran into a gimp pally.. and we grabbed him too... ended up to be quite a fun ride, which I totally wasn't expecting.. few days later started a new guild and we've been running ever since...

Bottom line.. 9/10 times it is frustrating.. but the 1/10 time it works out, it's totally worth it... I guess the middle ground would be to get 1-2 random peeps in the group every now and then..
