Its time for a spell pierce nerf for the Necro class.
Being they can get 25%. And other classes only 10%. And have stupidly high built in resists against melee, and even casting dps hardly does much unless assisted down.

You can cap my spell Pierce when Cast Speed and Base Dex + Aug Dex transfers to the pet.

IIRC spell pierce only affects resists gained from items, so the cap would be at most 26% assuming your target caps resists.
And necros doesn't really have much else going for them. I guess nerfing this would be a reason to scrap and re-design the whole class, which has been needed for years though.

FP, Followed by 3 pet LTs. I am I'm running 26% Spirit + 10% from CL. And I'm getting for over 700 from each. I have 1946 Hits. If each LT hits for 700ish .. you can cast 3 - 4 times with FP (25% duration). 700 + 700 + 700 = 2100. I'm dead. That does not include what damage your shade LT could be doing simulaneously. Necros do NOT need an extra 15% spell peirce.

And? My Fire Wiz hits people for over 800 with each bolt. Necros have had the shaft for years, it's not like they are hard to deal with. Stop QQ and deal with it.

Necro is actually one of the strongest classes in the game as long as the pet doesn't fall through the floor and insta die or whatever...

Noob question... how do they get 25% passive spell pierce?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the answer myself in the alb caster forums. I didn't realize they could just template right over the regular player cap. Thought it was someting special...
