I have never had this happen before, So I dunno why it's happening now. Me and my brother both within the past 3 weeks or so have been crashing to desktop when duel logging. Hes all the way across the country and hes never had it happen before either.
I click my screen or styles or anything when fighting and bam, I lock up and winxp error's me and I daoc drops me to desktop.
Any idea what is causing this? My hardware and comp hasn't changed in 2 years and I never got these problems before. My brothers computer is alot newer and he ran daoc just fine on all his computers just until the past month or so.
What changed server side thats doing this? can you change it back please?

nothing is wrong with my computer. After talking to other people in game its happening to alot of people..

Are you using an outdated UI? That can crash you to desctop and was a common issue a while back.

The most common cause for a CTD with DAoC right now, seems to be dealing with Graphic driver issues.
If you're installed new drivers for graphics cards... You might want to roll back a driver or two, and see
if that takes care of your problem.

im getting the same thing except i get no error message i just insta ld with no warning, no the server has disconnected u lolz and my comps 3 months old
started approx 2 weeks ago. never had this in 6 + yrs and yes u can troll if u wish password.

One of my guildies was having a similar problem a few months back. I think she said she fixed by updating her chipset drivers. Might be worth a try.

Uninstall...reinstall fixed this problem for me.
