What ever happened with origins? I've been trying to get my fill of origins-like server playing on the Uthgard freeshard, and its really great, but I really had high hopes for origins. Did Mythic ever make an official statement saying that it wasn't going to happen?

Origins is dead. All resources are going towards StarWars, sadly.

Are you saying that Mythic's team is helping with Starwars? because I wouldn't mind some bad ass pvp in a star wars game. Still, origins being dead feels bad man.

Hate to burst your bubble. I'm saying, Mythic exists in name only, they are sandwiched between EA and BioWare. Any 'real' pvp/rvr talent Mythic had is long gone. So, yes, Mythic is helping with StarWars, but don't expect bad ass pvp in that game. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. And I agree, no Origins is a bummer. My best advice: Play DAoC (which is neglected, and down to 1 server), maybe check out Guild Wars 2 when it releases. Best of luck.

Where are the original DAoC devs? They just dissapeared into thin air?
You can't make a game like DAoC then just wank off somewhere...wtf.
They need to be found, then slapped around until they make another game imho  .

I recommend staying gone for another long time. Everything that caused you to leave before has just gotten worse and there is no support for the game. The web page doesn't even function properly.

I recommend playing. Grinding level 3 mobs in this game is more enjoyable than end game WoW.If you want an MMO that is.
