What lag??? You must have some kind of problem with your comp or internet.

Playing with a oooooooooold computer my self and got no lags at all.

there is lag present for a large enough portion of the playerbase that mythic is trying to fix it...

problem is some people do have almost no lag, and that means its not entirely mythics end.

is possible that the way mythics data stream is sent, is incompatible with certain ISP's and that enroute it causes lag for large portions of people and no lag for others

My assumption is that the people who don't feel any lag aren't very attentive when playing. The lag corresponds to the number of players in game. Friday-Sunday nights are the worst. Monday through Thursday nights typically aren't bad. Thursday night this week felt like Sunday night lag. Only when I found out that there was a Live event going on did that make sense. It isn't the case that some people always lag and some people always don't.

no, because i've tested it with a friends account, and didnt have any lag at all, but he lagged, he changed ISP's and he stopped lagging

there is definately something funky with mythics data stream that doesnt work on all ISPs...

i think its caused by ISPs that do traffic shaping and limiting on certain ports and data types.

When I play daoc regurlarly over extended periods of time I feel like the game is functioning fairly well and only notice the huge lag issues and bugs... But if I quit playing for a few weeks and come back it becomes painfully apparent just how disfunctional this game really has become. I am sure its this way with many of those regular players that claim to have no lag issues. Also I have noticed due to playing with people from different parts of the country that big lag issues that create latency often affect different parts of the nation while leaving others unaffected.

myself and the 3 guys i came back with have no lag...but we see lots of lag ghosts and stuff like that...no delays though
