There is no best setup, it all depends. You can't count on action on island, and there is only a few decent groups about.

Anyways, a base of 2 healers, skald, shaman and 4 dps can be mixed up depending on who is there, and how the map is looking.

We usually run 2 melee dps and 2 caster dps, usually zerks/runies as they work well in 2 dps teams but what matters is experience and realm ranks (rr3 zerk is completely useless e.g.)

Totally agree with Xen. We ran for 6 months on mid and got everyone the equiv of RR 11 on their toons....we ran 2x healer, skald, enh/cave sham, and 2 tanks 2 casters. BD/warlock was the ultimate caster setup for us, can't rupt the lock and the bd still has instas+pets.....bd/bd was also solid. As far as tanks are concerned we always ran 2 high RR zerks...banerlord and vendo dump and drop 2 people on inc. If we were running into tank groups we would drop a caster and run a savage for BG. We ran a warrior and a caster for a while instead of duel casters.....and circle strafe> our group.....also alb caster groups would eat us alive....for lack of pet clears.
