Remove stealth and give me charge to escape full groups
Funny thing is mythic even buffed stealth classes, scout groups who only hunt solo's are just sad.

Game is beyond broken though, I always think about how cool the game was with SI, then after playing
like 2 hours I remember how broken stuff is.

ML 10 procs are ridiculous, broken classes like mauler, valk, vamp, reaver, stealther groups...

Solo RvRing require abit more skill / Luck these days...


As most ppl here says there is alot of adding (As there always have been, but you know memories are manipulated by your brain) so you gotta play it smart out there coz if you run into grp / small man etc they will kill you but there is still loads of options for the solo play and ive just been back for 5 days..


Ive managed the first 4 days soloing and most the time been fine at Hurb on my SB taking out ppls on the way to the boats (Thanks for taking over the entire Alb land fellow Mids)..


Just remember.. you WILL get steamrolled by FG of Scout/Infs a few times during the day..


@WoU-InSANE - I like the way you point out Stealther Grps as a broken class.. Reaver/Valk/Mauler might be broken but Vamps?.. whats wrong with them.

It's the mechanics, how some classes completely hard counter others.
For instance with the valk, if you have low dps and no way of applying disease, it's impossible to kill her.

I listed vamps because they are also one of the fumble classes, applying a debuff that lets your enemy miss 50% of his swings
in addition to capped evade rate + some parry and block is just stupid in my eyes.
The whole defensive mechanisms make this to a lottery game, have fun trying to hit with a 2h weapon.

The almighty answer is of course zerg them hard.

Also I don't know why armor resistances are still not neutral across all realms, take a spear hero for instance vs pole armsman.
spear deals 10% less dmg to him while he does bonus to you, which makes a massive difference.

All of that just adds together for me and when you have a tough solo fight which favours your opponent because of above listed factors,
3 scouts add and fill you with arrows(especially nice if you used all your active RA's).
Just makes me say fukc this... not even Darkfall makes me rage this hard when I get zerged tbh
And of course you need to pay for an extra bb account for all that "fun".

im not one of the High rankers out there who got all the tools in the world to use.. i gotta pick out my fights carefully (i suck at this part)...


And to make things better i refuse useing Vanish and Viper + im a kobbie ofc..

Whenever I see people talk about soloing I try to look at their solo kill totals out of curiosity and compare them to the total kills. It's always interesting.

Dark Age of Camelot, being a 3 realm system, has always been a rock/paper/scissors game. Were there only 2 realms, then the idea of weakness to particular damage types would make less sense. This factor is what keeps the PvP here so much more interesting and involved than just about any other MMO.

As an example, a leather wearing Alb class is weak to crush damamge, but takes less or is neutral to pierce and slash. This gives Infy's and Friars (and maulers) a small damage absorption, for lack of a better term, when fighting other stealth classes. If they were to go up against a crush melee class then they would be at a disadvantage because of their armor type. All this adds to the depth and realism of the game.

Were a plate mail wearing soldier in the days of the Roman Empire attacked with a slashing sword, the chance of damaging that soldier would be less than if they were attacked by a crushing weapon. Crushing attacks by themselves inflict plenty of pain, but it could dent the armor, making for weaker defense and increasing damage from subsequent attacks.

The armor weakness/resistance used to be even higher, with up to 15% vulnerability in some cases.

Its all about a game being as realistic as it can within the limits of the pixels it is drawn with.
