Currently RvR rewards are out of whack. The game rewards playing it safe compared high risk, high reward. Here are a couple ideas to help encourage players to participate in attacking enemy realms:

1. Reduce RPs by 50% if no towers or keeps are held by an enemy force in your realm
2. Reduce RPs by 25% if no keeps are held by an enemy force in your realm
3. Increase RPs by 25% when your realm controls one or more towers in enemy realm
4. Increase RPs by 50% when your realm controls one or more keeps in enemy realm
5. Increase RPs by 50% when two realms control one or more towers in your realm
6. Increase RPs by 75% when two realms control one or more keeps in your realm
7. Increase RPs by 100% when two realms control ports in your realm


This would encourage players to venture out away from the safety of their own realm/bridges while providing excellent defending bonuses when a realm becomes the focus of the other two. I really think these bonuses would help rejuvenate stagnant RvR periods, discuss.

people would then just leave 2 keeps in each frontier for the other realms and they'd never change hands..

just for the increased RPs all around.

its already insanely easy to get rps. Don't think rp number need to be adjusted. Just adjust your play style. Rp's are always there. Just dont be afraid to die in a video game. You will always die. The point is to leave with more rps then what you came with. Just have fun.

would force ppl from camping their own bridges since there would be ports everywhere - dont be so close minded

It IS a video game and you will die lol....so many don't have fun anymore, playing daoc is like some science experiment that CAN'T go wrong in someone's perfekt anal mind and when they die, rage...

Just have fun. It is only a game.

People camp their own bridges because they're easy and fast to get to, enemies show up there frequently, and you can engage in RvR there without having to spend an hour getting a perfect group together, 10 minutes boating to another realm, and another half hour taking a keep and all 4 towers to open a port. This is no different than why the action in OF was often at the PKs and MGs in Emain. Don't like it? Take your toon somewhere else in NF.

8v1 and you still have to vanish to avoid dying
