This thread has inspired me. I think I'm going to make it my mission as I get going again to go and get screenshots of all of the classic and SI epic mobs. I haven't been in most of those places in a reaaaaallly long time, even before I stopped playing last time.

Which realm and during what playtime? Perhaps if others want to run around and do some of the things a group could be formed.

Just remember to take screenies for me.

I'm on Hib, play time is mostly from 5-?pm Central during the week days. I would love to revisit places like Galladoria, Dragon, old epic quest mobs, DF Mobs etc. A lot of the DF ones I never even got to see in person.


I always thought it would be really freaking awesome if we could get ALL THREE realms to cooperate for a deep level darkness falls raid. The trick would be to keep everyone from killing one another. Or maybe that could be the fun at the end of the raid... one great big free-for-all to get back home lol That would be so much fun.


Edit: I wonder if there would be interest for something like that... maybe I will make a thread and see.

Ah, I only have mid level Hibs atm.

I did find out that a friar cannot solo Afanc in Alb the other night. LOL!

I think it would be interesting to get all three realms to the bottom of DF. Heck, I think getting enough people to cooperate to get the toons into DF would be an interesting challenge.

lol, I've seen Friars do some amazing things. That might be a bit beyond reach!


The DF thing would be a lot of fun. I wish people weren't so hung up on 'OMGINEEDMYRP' mentality. You would think with a dwindling community the people who remain would be a little bit more mature.

I will say that the friar lasted much longer than I thought he would!

Now I need to skill up my warden and see how well I can do hiding behind a shield and in a bubble.

Yeah, it is pretty discouraging that there is so much focus on the RP's. I know several people who would play DAoC and probably bring their guildie friends from other games if it wasn't so RvRcentric here. I keep getting told how they hear how DAoC has horrific PvE and is only about RvR. This is what started the quest for the screenies btw. So that I would have something to show others that the game is much more than getting ganked.

Honestly, it is nice to see that there are some things in the game that are not solo-able these days.
