Lol I can assure you that plenty of things WERE forgotten, lol. Ever hear of the Dark Ages? They also forgot Aristotle (rediscovered in the 1200s from the Arabs), Euclid, Democritus (hypothesized atomic theory), Greek tragedy and a host of other Hellenic authors.

Roman legions left in the early 400's to deal with the Visigoths and the Franks. Arthur's time was >150 years later. Unlike the continent, most Roman culture had disintegrated in Britannia. Go read some of Bede's writings from the 600s. Very little ROmanness there.

except your forgetting that there are alot of theories on the origins of arthur, theres like 3 or 4 ROMAN soldiers they say could have been Arthur...

kinda ties greeks and romans in pretty solidly with Arthurian legend...

and if we were to go by historical accuracy, and not fictional license allowing for Mythic to add ties that might not have been 100% accuracte....

then why is albion mostly based around knights in shiny armor... in the 5th and 6th century in britain they didnt have knights in shiny armor they had warlords and warbands mostly in leather and roman gear... it wasnt untill much later that the knights in shining armor appeared...

plus, the city of camelot, the keeps and such are also out of order... as in the 5th and 6th century... they didnt build big rock forts ... they build wooden stockades...

so you can either have accuracy historicaly... or allow for some leeway in how Mythic wants to write and protray the story...

but you cant argue for one, and then still accept the other inacuracies

Nope. Go read Bede and some of the original Latin texts at the time. Even though they clamed Roman heritage, they were Roman in name only. Again, the legions left Britannia at least 150 years before the time of Arthur, so the nomenclaure "Roman Soldier" was more closely Latin speaking local soldier. The western empre disappeared in 476, about 80 years prior. The "Romans" in Britain were more British than Romans, and it is highly unlikely that Greek mythics, much less Roman ones, were known by more than a handful of scholars.

Agree on the metal armor. At best they would have had iron brest plates. Even in France at the time, the mounted knights were not fully decked in armor.

Both stone and wood were used for construction in the 500s. In fact much of the stone came from Roman ruins. However the castles in game are incorrect. In the mid 6th centrury, very crude fortifications of stone and wood were built, nothing like what's depicted, I agree.

Their depiction of Hibernia (actually should be called Eire) is more accurate. Even there, the capital city should be much more rustic.

But shortly after they'd make you a caster with bullets. Frost bullets, fire bullets, acid bullets, poison bullets, up close bullets, far away bullets, lots of bullets at once...

Which of course forces your hand into joining "assault groups", which pertains sitting at bridges and dock areas waiting for solos to put down.
