Why on earth would you TAKE AWAY my realm points? If I earned my 10 million rps not by farming, it would be just DUMB to take them from me. Punishing players just to come to RvR is not the way to go. The same would be forcing you to transfer to Mordred and taking your realm points. Thats just dumb
Yeah, you have a point. They should let players transfer, but they won't because there are so few players on Mordred these days I doubt they think it would be worth their time.

My favorite solution would be to have one character database and then be able to port between servers.
In the morning rvr on ywain, afternoon pvp on mordred and in the evening some raids on gaheris. all with one toon.
But i highly doubt mythic has any resources to pull that off.

As someone with many 50s on Mordred I hope they never let you transfer off Mordred.
1. Main reason is because for the past few years people have blatantly farmed alts for RPs and exploited all the PVE spots to farm dragon scales and whatever else is very valuable now without CSRs policing the server. They did this because they thought Mythic would make transfers or revive Mordred eventually.
2. There are better solutions and Mordred and its players still deserve a second chance. If they are going to put effort and money into this problem, they should do it for the customers who enjoyed Mordred and not for themselves who have been too incompetent to make the small fixes Mordred needs.
3. Mordred is fun, RvR servers are boring. This effort will do nothing for the majority of Mordred players who no longer play. If they wanted to continue playing, they'd already be on the blue servers with new characters.
4. It would justify mythic giving up on its customers while hoping they will still get mordred player subs. If they want to give up on Mordred, we shouldn't play their game and they don't deserve customers who they ignored for the whole lifetime of Mordred.

I would imagine that they don't do this because the cost in programmer time would exceed the projected revenue increase from returning 'Dred players.
This is especially true if many/most of the 'Dred players are already playing on Ywain, in which case many/most of them wouldn't add a dime to Mythic's revenue as a result of this proposed change.
Cost/benefits shouldn't be the only consideration in something like this. Neglecting small portions of your customer base is a way to get a bad reputation among all of your current & potential customer base. Weighed against that, giving Mordred players some love isn't all that expensive.

Hundreds of Mordred people are on Ywain sucking it up, there are a LOT canceled like me that WOULD come back, Mythic is just stupid or they would have done this by now. I would not care what they did, let em come take a crap on the server and give us the finger, at least then we would know they know that the server still exists and we could walk away from the game forever knowing its not gonna ever happen. But instead they sit over there ignoring us. Well, I for one do not lose sleep over not giving them subscription money

i would love to not need to lvl all those toons to 50 again and get them ml10 all over or RR5 but since i have almost remade all my toons anyways it would be a little late for me but i can totally understand wanting to get mordred toons over to ywain.
