Reference realm hopping how about:
Many players complain about the lack of realm loyalty with players relic hopping, as relics change hands, or cross realming to find out opposing realm numbers and positions. The realm timers are in place to somewhat hinder people jumping about and it does help in some small way. However, I have been thinking that the word "Loyalty" is a positive word and that it might prudent to reward people for remaining loyal to a particular realm.
The type rewards that could be brought in are:
A. Realm point bonus - The longer you remain loyal to one realm the percentage RPs you can achieve increases. For example, for each week you remain on a single realm the bonus increases by 1% to a maximum of 20% bonus RPs over 20 weeks. However, if you decide to relic hop or x-realm and jump to another realm then you should not receive a reward and your RP bonus decreases to 95% of the original base amount. You then have to prove your loyalty to the new realm, over time, to achieve the higher RP bonus.
B. Crafting Bonus - This could fall into a similar pattern to the realm point bonus where by crafting time decreases for the longer you remain on one realm but increase to a slower level if you realm hop.
C. Experience bonus - I am sure you are seeing the pattern now. Loyalty equals more experience for alt levelling and experience bonus reduces to the normal level if the player jumps about the 3 realms.
This is food for thought not a definitive answer to the problem.
