Making $$ - Whats your best method? |

What's your best way to make $$ solo (or with bot) these days? I do SCing but that doesn't bring kinda boring and rely on other players. Is there a good place to farm that you can sell to NPC for good coin? Is it ML10 raids and hoping to /random high enough to get a good item to sell? I've tried salvaging normal weapons and such and that is a pretty slow process and does not get you that much too fast. In salvaging from DF Seals, do you just use the seals to buy weapons, then just salvage them and sell ingredients to NPC?

I idle in tnn waiting for someone to come along saying he'll pay 30 plat to SC 10 items or some such, but since you're looking for something other than that, farming the lower level classic dungeons for +TOA bonus thid items to put on CM works pretty well for me. Only do that when I'm leveling a new character to molvik or 50, though.

Yep I was hoping there was some good farming trick or spot. I have a 50 ML10 Ench and 50 bard or druid to bot.

There are nice quests that give lots of gold. There are items you can farm and then sell on your CM for lots and lots of plat. You can use google and find many ways to make plat.
The following quote, just to give you an idea of what is available via google, is from the Orc army guide (edit: the orc and pygmy videos are alb but the method works where ever you can pull large numbers and then aoe them down. . . .the videos are cool too)

I can't stress this enough. You will kill so many orcs and so quickly that you'll fill up your pack w/in just a couple pulls. Even after destroying junk, you'll be full of quality items in 3 pulls. Trust me, if you salvage your loot on-site, you'll net up to 5 plat per hour, mostly with staves and armor (chain/plate/studded chest/arms/legs).

if your farming seals in df to purchase items to salvage you want to buy scale chest pieces. they produce the best bang for your buck. i try to stick to metal or wood items for salvage and dont bother with cloth or leather. i find i get good return farming afrits, lots of armour and weapon drops to salvage, and i sell the glass and afrit essence on my cm.

best methods for making money:
If you have money:
#1. Play the Market Explorer buy low sell high game.
If you don't have money:
#1. Sell BPs.
#2. Farm Afrits salvage drops, sell rare drops (zahur's ring, etc.)
#3. Farm ML10
#4. Craft Services (alchemy/spellcrafting)
#5. Farm unique drops (OTD's, gr. myth's, etc.)
Seasonal: Get Bunny gear/bracer on all your toons, save for 4 months, sell ea. for 30p+
For time invested, that's how I'd rank em.
That imo, sums it up.

1. Get an apartment with 4 bedrooms.
2. Get to know 12 attractive females that does anything for you.
3. Let them work in 3 shifts in teams of 4.
4. Send the teams out to find ppl, who are willing to pay to have sex with them in your apartment.
5. Take 50% of their earnings.
6. You have a lot of money and can buy all the plat you want.
EDIT: Every shift is 8h ofc.
