I was banned for having my barrier up. I was working two toons. One was just sitting there with supressive barrier up. The second toon was waiting for RA's to cool down and talking. And I get banned because the one toon nobody was operating it. So Mythic says I was obviously exploiting because supressive barrier was up and nobody was operating the toon. You only need to be there once in 40 min to keep the barrier up. If a CSR is trying to talk to you or buffbot it aint gonna happen

What difference does it even make, with a toon standing in Ageir. It's not like toon was farming dragon anyways.

So let me get this right ... One of your toons had a shield up and was afk and you got banned for that. Or is thiss barrier some other programÉ

What if the doorbell rings and you need to answer it and don’t get back to the computer for an hour?

What if the phone rings and its your neighbor calling about your injured kid?

What if . . . .


There are dozens of reasons I would just walk away from the computer without taking time to log off or change my toons or text anyone in the game. There are hundreds of things that could cause me to not care at all what happened to my toons if I needed to leave the computer.


It would be the dumbest thing on Mythic’s part to think that an abandoned toon was reason to ban someone.


Now if you were afk farming, that should have been obvious to them but to ban you simply for being away for a bit . . .that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard . . .it could also be typical Mythic.


There must be more to the story than what you are saying . . . or it is just typical Mythic.


If Lori or Sanya were still around they would probably have looked into your problem but as they are gone, I think that you are . . . . not going to get satisfaction.

they don't ban for being afk... they ban if the toon is casting/etc and being unresponsive (macro'd or hkn etc) or exploiting a mob/camp etc... i'm sure we're only getting a part of the story... what exactly were you farming?

i imagine he's talking about the druid/shammy/cleric 70/85/90%? damage reduction buff that eats power like no tomorrow..... but with all the regen out these days... u might be able to keep it running for 40 minutes

did they remove the timeout? do people not automaticaly log out anymore if they are inactive for more then 10-15 minutes?
