What do I do now that all my main toons are on Ywain1 and I can't buy a housing lot on another server? I bought 2 houses (one for each account) on Ywain1, and they have been repossessed. Now I just ran around for about an hour on a Bard with speed 6, all that I saw was 2 lots on sale for approximately 80 platinum. I don't have 80 plat, that's why I need to get my house back because i'm broke and its a lot easier to sell stuff on a consignment merchant than anywhere else. Regardless I need a house anyways.

So now I have to pay 80 plat for a house lot, or make an alternate character on a different server just to buy a house? What about all the loads and loads of stuff on the vault banker repossession merchants? I'm supposed to load it all up one at a time and then bring it to the new house under a new owner?

This really sucks.

I think Mythic should allow transfers in between all of the Ywain servers. Maybe limit it so that people don't do it often. But allow the unfortunate fools who originally transferred to the easier server number to remember when the transfers first opened up to do something reasonable about a house. Thank you.

not to mention that the housing directory is no longer existent with the camelot herald gone. So I must run around the entire housing zone for hours on end just in case there might be a lot somewhere where nobody looked that is mildly affordable. Instead of simply making a character on another server and buying the first lot I see for 300 gold, and then spending hours on end transferring items from the two characters that used to own houses, into the house vaults of the character on a ywain server which I don't play on. This is great.

their whole housing/cm thing is screwed, but you answered your own question: make an alt on a different server.

there's a pro to this, though. you can find a housing lot in the entrance zone, which will help you have the items on your CM higher in the search list. not sure how it works trying to teleport to your hearth bind, though.

Support, like the knowledge base that explains that the lots start a reverse auction from 94p to 300g at a rate of 1.2p an hour? Granted, the new website needs to be fixed, but you can do better than that


1st, lots are usually available at the bargain basement price of 300g if you search zones farther from entrance.
2nd, if you find a lot currently in the high plats, grab a calculator, divide current price by 1.2p, and you now have an approximate # of hours before the price hits 300g.
3rd, park bot at lot and check when you are willing to buy.
4th, you can roll a toon on a different ywain server, buy a house there, and bind all your toons there. Bit of a hassle, but solves your problem.
5th you can offer to buy a cottage/house/villa/mansion in /region. Might get a bite from someone who doesn't really care about lot location if you offer a fair price.

Those are your best options.

Ywain to Ywain transfers would be a good idea, but I doubt there's anybody left at Mythic who could program that.
