Hi folks, I've created a new section on the Wiki for DAoC Jargon and I invite you guys to help add to this.

I'm looking for additions including:
- Zones / Places
- Items
- Abilities
- Styles
- Game Features
- General Chat
- Anything else you encounter

For now only this direct link will get you to this page, I am looking at adding some more links to the wiki homepage.

For nostalgia/history, should include Old Frontiers terms (including OF) like MG's, Thimble, neck check, etc.

keep names and areas in NF is important... including bridge names, areas around high traffic area...

1. Working as intended : we know its broken but haven't the resources or talent to fix it.

2. Noted, post specifics : we haven't got the resources to fix this so you need to help

3. No plans at present : no resource at all for this

4. Will not alter game balance : we haven't tested this feature but once implemented see 1 above.

5. We are going to focus on mini-upgrades : single patches will now be released in over a dozen instalments.

6. Remain an independent company : we will do as we are told by EA we just haven't realised it yet.


.... I know, I know but the opening post cried out for it!

YES TO THIS

been playing this game for like 6ish years and still brainfart all the time on /loc names


from the wiki Kite - To attack a creature then root or freeze it and run away from it, keeping it at distance, turning to shoot it occasionally and root or freeze it again. Method is used to keep it busy or whittle its health down

this sound to me more like extending where as kiting to me is like when you keep shit out of melee range but your casters can still blow it up but just an opinion~
