Hiya folks,
I'm having trouble deciding what to level to 50 next, an Arboreal Animist or a Fire Wizard, I'll most likely be soloing alot so i'd like to be able to solo glass without too much trouble. If you guys find both to be terrible, can you recommend a clothie caster that can do it, any faction is fine.

PS.. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I'll be playing on Gaheris.

Both casters would work great for farming afrits on gaheris, so it comes down to personal preference .. both will do great dmg against them so you shouldnt have any issues with either choice.

Based on your choices, I assume you're going to pull the mobs one at a time. In that case Deathsight Necromancer is still the best for PvE, if for no other reason than eliminating down time.

Theres a Reason why they call it GAYHERIS! On normal servers, you don't even attempt an afrit unless you got a good group!

Thanks for the responses guys, I decided to stay on Ywain instead, and give a air Theurg a try, lets see how well he does.

it's NOT the afrit that is the problem, it's the weapons it spawns that hit like trucks

i farm afrits all the time on ywain with my sorc and bot .. its easy

Exactely, Sorc and BOT, means you have 3 characters there which means a group, The Sorc, the Salamander Pet and the BOT!

ok, i've done it on a Mana Eld and a bot. its really not that hard, sometimes you gotta burn insta's though which is never a good thing.
