to be honest, I don't think anything can revive DaoC. Other then tuning the game there will be no major overhaul for a game this old. Sure you can implement OF but after the nostalgia wears of the people that maybe came back for it will leave and you are left with just a handfull of players that are going to stick around. The rest will realize why they left in te first place and that isn't because of NF or TOA but just the age of the game and the plethora of other mmorpg's out there.

It's never going to compete with guildwars 2 though.

There could be a matket for Daoc 2 with a 4th faction.
