The Iron Wolves Mid Bors, was my guild from day one, I'm still trying to find my old members, after such a long layoff. None of us thought of swapping emails or anything. Kinda sad, it was like loosing touch with all your high school friends when school was over . If anybody still plays daoc from that guild PM me!

i think it was Crusaders or The Crusaders. After that I went straight to 8v8 guilds for the most part.

Teeth of Garm - Midgard/Percival

I worked for a company that was occupying most of a large building as their webmaster. I would take smoke breaks outside the building, and talk with a group of developers and artists that worked for Disney's animation division when they took their breaks. I was playing Everquest at the time and growing mightily frustrated with it, so I was overjoyed to hear about this new game Dark Age of Camelot that was coming out soon. One of the Disney guys was in the beta, and his comments made me very interested in the game as it seemed to address all of the frustrations I was having with EQ. We agreed we would all play Midgard on the Percival RP server, and that we would found a guild together, named Teeth of Garm.

We started on day 1 and I immediately starting gathering lists of character names from all the folks involved, but it took a while to raise the money required to found a new guild. After a few days or possibly a week, we had enough - thanks primarily to one guy who took up crafting I think - and we founded the guild. So the guild was planned before the game came out It never had more than two dozen or so players involved, but it helped immensely that we all more or less knew each other in real life. We could go to the pub to have a guild meeting (Hello Strathcona hotel).

Later I was in Seventh Legion, Rage of Fenris, and briefly in a mostly Scandanavian guild I can't recall the name of. I really miss the old Midgard/Percival crowd.

Nowdays I am in a guild that founded by people who played Mid/Perc

Was in Touel Alfar, Hib/Kay for a bit before the guild finally tapered off. Jumped to Mid/Pell and was in several guilds, Fellowship of Steel for one, and the one they all moved to when it collapsed. Quit for a good bit, came back on Alb/Kay (I deleted all my Hibs in a rage - dumb!) in Arthur's Legacy for a brief time.

Unguilded now, just don't have the time now that grad school is winding down and I have a gf now too lol.

Best memories were probably Mid/Pell with all the drama of the big guilds and the 8mans. Went on the dragon raid where an 8man group hijacked the encounter and got all the drops. The incident sparked a vocab change for me, anytime someone takes stuff like that, they've "Geno'ed" you, in honor of the guild Genocyde.

God the memories are what make this game the best ever!

Dark Revenge
Was invited to join when they had 10 players. We slaughtered every quest we could get and decimated all th
E monsters we could find. 5 people left for Albion and some for military deployments. So the GM made me GM and left. I raised the guild to 156 members and lead defense of the realm 8 times all successfully. But the toll it took on my play time burned me out and the game changes were horrible so I handed reigns over to our 4th in line after 4 yrs. He took it too Lead of the Alliance as guilds left and quit month after month. Until eventually he closed the guild doors forever.

Was an unforgettable experience for me and to this day the best ingame fun I've ever had.

I went on to try Hibs and Albs but aside from the amusement Midgard is home.

I truly wish somebody would bring back OF without TOA, redesign some combat elements moderate class balance and launch a new engine. I fear the lack of technical support is a tell tale sign of our dying world.
