with the increased penetration duel wield has on shields, a similar addition should be made for 2h weapons vs evade. discuss

I'd actually like to see it this way:
S/S > 2H > DW > S/S
With 2H getting a bonus vs. dual wielders and parry not evade.
I.E if entering combat vs. dual wielding opponent with a weapon specced for 2H (CS, LW for Hib, Pole, 2H for Alb, Spear + Thanes for mid; so that every mid class doesn't get a bonus), you get:
1) 25% chance to reach through an evade and make contact (vs. assassins + Rangers) Only for entering combat against DW'ers
2) 25% overall to cut through Parry (Against anyone).
I think this is fair, when you think of it. One it gives heavies the ability to hit Stealthers (it's tragic when you watch a champ or valk get chain evaded by an assassin) by assuming that the person wielding the long weapon can be evaded but, simply because of the length/weight of the weapon; and single arm motion could make some basic contact.
But the reason I say parry should be the 2H cut-through: Imagine trying to deflect a head-on sludge hammer with a sword. It's possible, but more like than not, the hammer will swing through your parry.
Just my opinion.

if they just left shield defense alone this wouldn't be a problem, like u said 2h gets chain evaded by stealthers which is serious to not land 3 attacks in a row for a 2h fighting a stealther, but if we use s/s the dps is terrible and defense is just as bad.
ur ideas for the parry/evade make sense hopefully (but doubtfully) something will be done for it

Thats the whole point with stealthers, they evade a lot but get hit for loads of damage. Any 2her can hit me for 400-500 anytime no crits, if i don't evade that much i get owned in 6 seconds. I think that the mechanics are pretty much perfect now, the problem with stealthers is the envenom line that has been boosted too much.

Mechanics are fine
DD Poison should never have been included but Lifebane definitley needed a boost

Agree with Corfel, DD was a bad idea but the evade/penetration mechanics are spot on right now.
Remove DD, increase lifebane imo

LB doesn't need a further increase

I agree with what it's suppose to be like. And I definitely agree with the envenom issue.
However, to be perfectly honest, an assassin (imo) is suppose to have huge burst damage but low straight forward prowess. I.E it should be easier to kill an assassin after they have popped. However, because of WS/Dex debuffs and sometimes lethargy; unless you purge (however they can just be reapplied) it becomes insane fighting one straight up because you'll be evaded more than not, and if you're running a 2H it can really hurt being chain evaded and with the debuffs, you hit like a wet fish; which puts to bed the heavy damage when actually being hit.
Just my 2 cents.
