Are you serious? I know I'm not liked that much, but damn.
Ok how bout keep the combat system, but turn up the tempo about 5 notches.
It's retarded that when a DAOC video is made the speed has to be turned up so the watcher doesn't fall asleep.
Counting to 5 for the second melee attack to activate in some cases is bullcrap.
And yes even though you all would buy a gun and kill yourselves, DAOC needs better mechanics, especially jumping.

Stupid ideas like this are among them.
If you want FPS combat, play an FPS. This is an MMO, no fight in an MMO should ever be over in seconds. The damage in this game has been out of whack ever since ToA was introduced, it needs to be lessened, not increased.

Maybe should wait until the actual anniversary before you talk.......im sure theyll come through with something they usually do. I agree if u want fast paced go play a FPS...duh

Pay attention to a few things
They were working on 1.110 before they released .09
They are only releaseing a FEW hints and teasers about that patch.
They are obviously working weekends ( Something I haven't seen in a LONG time since TOA era)which I can honestly state due to them releasing art on a Saturday.
Do the math there is more coming then what they are hinting at, and as an above poster stated wait till the actual anniversary.
