Resubbing need class advice |

Hi im bored looking to resub to the only game that was any good for pvp/rvr. ive been gone for a loooong time and need some advice on a class for mainly solo play ill be starting from scratch. dont care about realm just want to know peoples opinions thanks.

any class has a pretty time leveling up now. But if you really want to look for solo play when you get to 50 then I guess choose a stealth class.

My suggestion: Go Midgard and roll a Hunter. They are a stealth class but they get self-buffs that are very good, and they are fairly capable without need for a buffbot. As a bonus its a fun class and it levels quickly. Good for farming glass or scales etc.

Skald: Best all-round melee class, imho.
Savage: Recently got access to charge, and now get blissful ignorance (old RR5 ability) at 35 savagery.
Hunter: Great first class choice. Disease pet very powerful in PvP.

Ive already done the stealth thing for a while when i played before having a hunter and a SB so id like to give a visi class a try before i go back to them. if i were to choses a speed class which of the three would be more capable of soloing pve content to lvl and pvp. the mini looks like it could be interesting with its pet possibilities and stealth. i know skald is probably strongest when it comes to killing. how about bard? i know they can heal but is a battle bard viable?

Battle bard isnt really viable. both mini and skald are excellent choices. skald is eaiisier to play imo ajd sometimes more effective.. not the greatest for killing though.. i just mean obviousky nkot as good as pure ta a high level pet can actually kill pretty good.

Of all the speed classes, Skald is the most solid all-rounder and is strong both solo and grouped. Minstrel is very strong solo and good in groups, but there's already a plague of them out there. Bard will struggle solo, but brings the most to a group.
Other classes with some form of speed that will solo well and also bring plenty to groups are Runemaster, Enchanter, Theurgist and Sorceror. My favourite of these is the Runie, a very well rounded class.
If you're not too bothered about speed, Valkyrie, Bonedancer, Mentalist, Eldritch and Vampiir all solo well.
